1. Data Controller
The data controller under GDPR is Scaliir Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), represented by Managing Director Schahin Rouhanizadeh. Contact: kontakt@laufbursche.jetzt
2. Hosting & Infrastructure
This application is hosted on Fly.io (Fly.io Inc., USA). When accessing the app, technically necessary connection data (IP address, timestamp, browser information) is transmitted to Fly.io servers. Static content and app updates are delivered via Tigris (Tigris Data, USA). Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
3. Collected Data
When using Laufbursche, we collect the following data: registration data (name, email, phone number), location data (only with explicit consent, for matching local jobs), usage data (orders, ratings, activity history), device information (push token, device type, OS version), and payment data (processed via Stripe — no card data is stored by us).
4. Push Notifications
We send push notifications via Apple Push Notification Service (APNs, Apple Inc., USA) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM, Google LLC, USA). A push token of your device is transmitted to the respective servers. You can disable push notifications anytime in device settings or in the app. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent).
5. Location Data
To match local jobs, we use your approximate location (processed via the H3 geo-indexing system). Your exact location is not stored. Location detection only occurs with your explicit consent and can be revoked anytime. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.
6. Payment Processing
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland). Payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe. For workers and businesses with a Stripe Connect account, identity and bank account data is additionally transmitted to Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies (stripe.com/privacy).
7. Databases & Caching
Personal data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. For performance optimization, we use DragonflyDB as an in-memory cache. Both systems are operated on servers within the EU.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21). To exercise your rights, contact: kontakt@laufbursche.jetzt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data anytime in the app under Settings → Delete Account. Deletion occurs within 30 days, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
10. Changes
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed. The current version is available in the app and at laufbursche.jetzt. We notify you of significant changes via push notification.
